About the Plugin
This plugin includes SSV General
SSV Users is a plugin that allows you to manage members of a Students Sports Club the way you want to. With this plugin you can:
- Have a frontend registration and login page,
- Customize member data fields,
- Easy manage, view and edit member profiles,
This plugin is fully compatible with the SSV library which can add functionality like: MailChimp connection, User management, etc.
- Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/ssv-users` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Use the SSV Options->Users screen to configure the plugin.
- (Make your instructions match the desired user flow for activating and installing your plugin. Include any steps that might be needed for explanatory purposes.)
The fields box is a container for all the custom fields on that page. This box is shown on pages containing one of two tags: [ssv-users-profile-fields] and [ssv-users-register-fields] and will replace the tag with a form created with the default fields for that tag and the custom fields.
To get a better idea about how the custom fields work you should check out the SSV General plugin page.
The Page Role can be set to any of the user roles. By default this is set to a catch-all called “All” meaning that the page is not specified for any specific role but for all roles without a specific page.
On the users page (if you use the Plugin Main Column) the display name link wil open a window of the page with the Page Role of that users main role. If there is no page with the Page Role for that users main role, it will open the catch-all page.
When viewing this page, it does not have any effect yet, but I’m working on a message to redirect you to the correct page.
Columns to Export
Here you can select the user meta-data you want to export. All the columns in the right column are exported (and saved for the next time you want to export).
All values given in filters are case insensitive.
If a * is put in a string, it treats it as a unspecified length (0 or more) of unknown characters.
Filter User Meta Value jer* Jeroen Jeremy Jeroen Berkvens Berkvens Jeroen *jer* Jeroen Jeroen Berkvens Berkvens Jeroen Mike Heuijerjans Peter Janssen j*n Jeroen Jurgen Jeroen Fransen Jeremy Jeroen Berkvens
If * is the entire filter it filters all users with a value set for that field.
If a ? is put in a string, it treats it as one unknown character.
Filter User Meta Value jeroe? Jeroen Jeroe Jeroen Berkvens jer?en Jeroen Jerren Jeroen Berkvens
If ! is used, it selects all users that don’t match the statement between the brackets.
Filter User Meta Value ![jeroen] Henk Jeroen Berkvens Jeroen jeroen ![berkvens] Jeroen Frissen Jeroen Jeroen (this doesn’t match because of the missing space after jeroen) Jeroen Berkvens Mike Heuijerjans
